🛠️ Candle Care & Burn Instructions

Before First Burn:

• Place candle on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts

• Never leave burning candle unattended

First Burn (Most Important!):

• Allow the wax pool to reach the edges of the jar (approximately 2-3 hours)

• This prevents tunneling and ensures even burning for the life of your candle

• Wax has "memory" — the first burn sets the pattern for all future burns

Every Burn After:

• Trim wood wick to ⅛" before each lighting (remove charred wood)

• Burn for 2-4 hours at a time (never exceed 4 hours)

• Allow wax to cool completely before relighting (at least 2 hours)

• Keep wax pool free of wick trimmings and debris

Wood Wick Tips:

• If flame is too high or flickering: Extinguish and trim wick shorter

• If wick won't stay lit: Trim away excess charred wood and try again

• The crackling sound is normal and part of the wood wick experience!

Safety & Storage:

• Discontinue use when ½" of wax remains at bottom

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

• Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials

• Jar will be hot during and after burning — allow to cool before moving
